How Long Will It Take You To Reach Us?
We’re in Amsterdam Zuid. From Central Station a local could reach us in 15 minutes by metro and walking.
However, we realise Amsterdam can be confusing for visitors so you should definitely pad your travel time by an extra 15 minutes. There are various ways of getting to us, but the simplest is to catch Metro 52 to Europaplein (see below).
DIRECTIONS
Metro 52!
The simplest direction is to catch Metro 52 to Europaplein. There are eight stops on the line and Europaplein isĀ the second last stop before Zuid. From Central Station it’s just four stops, and from De Pijp it’s one stop. Once you reach Europaplein break out the old Google Maps and brace yourself for a six minute walk. From Central Station to Europaplein by metros is seven minutes.
Metro 52 runs every six minutes. In the centre of Amsterdam there are stations at Central Station (the Metro entrance), Rokin, Vijzelgracht (near The Heineken Experience), and De Pijp (if you’re visiting the Albert Cuyp Market).
Almost everyone who takes Metro 52 will need to take it Zuid (South). That is the name of the final station on the line. Europaplein is the stop before Zuid. If you’re at Zuid (most of you won’t be), then you need to take it Noord for one stop, but now it’s just getting confusing
From Central Station
Take Metro 52 Zuid (South). The entrance to the metro part of the station is separate from the main train station entrance, and sits just in front of the main entrance. Take it four stops and get off at Europaplein. You then have a seix minute walk to the shop.
In the centre of Amsterdam there are four stations you can catch this metro at: Central Station, Rokin, Vijzelgracht, and De Pijp.
From Albert Cuyp Markt (De Pijp)
Walk to the metro station at the corner of Alberty Cuypstraat and Ferdinand Bolstraat. Take Metro 52 Zuid one stop to Europaplein. You then have a six-minute walk.
Or if you walk it will take about 20 minutes.
From the Heineken Experience
Walk two minutes to the Metro 52 station on Vijzelgracht. Take Metro 52 Zuid two stops and get off at Europaplein. You’ll then have a six minute walk to reach the shop.
By Bike
Pray to whatever god you believe in. If you don’t believe in a god, start. Good luck!
